Dorothy Flato Scholarship for Strength, Character, and Resolve
Most of you will remember Dorothy for her kindness, enthusiasm, and behind the scenes work that have made the STE swimming program such a success. Even when she was very ill, Dorothy taught her students with enthusiasm and supported the swim team. She never used cancer as an excuse and tackled every task head on with perfection.

The Dorothy Flato Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a swimmer(s) who is entering their senior year at STE. The scholarship shall be used for post secondary education. The recipient must have swum for STE for three years; must have excellent attendance at practices and meets, must have represented STE at the state meet, must Support team members in and out of the water. The recipient most importantly must have pushed through adversity to accomplish goals.
