As a freshman, Moran competed on the Varsity team for three meets: the Brazos Invitational, the Katy Faith West Invitational and the Woodlands Christian Invitational. Moran also finished 6th in the JV Division at the STE Invitational.

Riley Moran is the son of Bill and Julie Moran of the Meyerland area in Houston, Texas, and has one older sibling Maddie. Moran plans to major in Computer Science at Trinity University.
